What do you do?
I’m an auctioneer, consultant and paddle raise specialist.
Why do you work with nonprofit events?
The energy created from passionate people working to raise money for their organizations is contagious.
What inspires you about a good event?
When you see the difference the people who are in attendance are making. Whether a $10,000 event, or a $1,000,000 event the good works that will be done with the funds raised.
What is your favorite moment at an event?
That moment at every event when you know you have connected with the crowd. The moment when a person in attendance was inspired to give a little more. The smiles, and the laughter of people having a good time.
What brings you the most joy in your work?
In my job, it is all about engaging and connecting with people. Meeting people, hearing their stories and learning about the organizations that I am raising money for. I always visit with people within the organization so I can be knowledgeable about what we are raising money for.
